The United States Army is the main branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for land-based military operations. It is the largest and oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of the three military departments of the Department of Defense.

History

Fighting in Afghanistan

After the attack on the world trade center in New York City on september 2001, the United States declared war on terrorism and launched a military campaign which involved sending troops to Afghanistan to eliminate them.

To ensure success, a special group of recruits were injected with an experimental serum, created by government scientists, in order to aid the United States war effort. Vincent Keller was one of the recruits.

The serum granted the recruits superhuman abilities, which include but it not limited to super strength and super speed. However the government quickly came to realize that they could not be control and tried to eliminate them. However, Vincent survived the attack.
